With thanks to the writings of Milton Friedman and Elon Musk’s Grok. The debate between socialism and capitalism is often reduced to slogans. Socialism is presented as compassion for working people; capitalism as freedom, initiative, and reward for enterprise. Both claims contain part of the truth. Yet the more important question is not whether a […]
Healthcare has been a constant government obsession for decades, and over the years has continued to take gradual control over it. What is befuddling is the motive behind doing so. It is unclear just exactly what the fascination is that motivates the government to stick its nose into a person’s private health matters. Not being […]
Today’s shift in young people’s views is real and large. A 2025 Cato/YouGov poll found 62% of 18–29-year-olds hold a favorable view of “socialism,” while favorability toward capitalism among young adults has fallen to around 39% in recent Harvard and Gallup polling down roughly 20 points over a decade. The question I have to ask […]
America’s political divide is no longer merely about policy; it is about first principles. On one side stands a tradition rooted in ordered liberty, personal responsibility, and the dignity of productive labor. On the other, a growing movement—often identified with Democratic Socialism—that increasingly questions those very foundations. In its most strident expressions, this movement calls […]
The honest answer is no, not by strict definition but yes, in significant and growing practice. The United States is a hybrid system and pretending otherwise in either direction is more political than accurate and as we all know just about everything today is politicized. To understand why, you need to start with what socialism […]
Is Education the Answer? The question most often asked is “What is happing in America” with all of the political turmoil we are currently experiencing and why. We have seen significant socialist organizational growth over the last decade as witnessed by the increase in membership in the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). The DSA secured […]
There are certain basic principles and ideas that form the moral predicates upon which all societies in all parts of the world are grounded. In the Western World these “pillars” upon which societies have been built have been progressively subjugated and are no longer part of the curriculum in public and many private—even Christian schools. […]
We are hearing a lot about Marxism and Socialism surrounding the views of the Democratic Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates. As much as they are trying to make the election about Donald Trump’s abrasive personality the central issue of the campaign, they won’t succeed unless he lets them. It is very important that we don’t allow […]
Elections have consequences and the election just past is no exception. There have been a few dramatic wins, but also some heartbreaking losses. America is in serious trouble today, and I believe that was made clear by the recent election. Candidates that should have won by dramatic margins actually lost. Americans have a tendency to […]
There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist state. Marxist Saul Alinsky wrote, Rules for Radicals. Hillary Clinton wrote her senior thesis project on Alinsky. The US is close to being a Socialist state! The Three main rules are: Divide the people on many issues […]
As politicians head for the courts, freedom-loving Americans are wondering just what happened with this election. Well folks, I will tell you that the final hand has been played in this poker game and, while we know that the democrats cheated, the problem is how are we going to prove it and deal with rectifying […]
Make no mistake about it the people rioting, looting, killing in our streets are supported by those in the progressive liberal Democratic movement including local mayors and DA’s. Nobody in the streets, including white snowflake country club millennial women confronting and shouting at policeman who are sworn to support the laws of our country and […]
