“Forrest Gump” is one of the truly great movies because of the endless chain of life lessons. Many of these are built around the notion of “Stupid is as stupid does”.
As a columnist for the Idaho State Journal, I am given a pretty free hand with regard to what I write. There is one unwritten rule that often shackles me. Generally, the other columnists are off limits. Last Sunday, Michael O’Donnell ignored that rule and had a go at me.
Article 1 Section 1 of the Idaho State Constitution states, “INALIENABLE RIGHTS OF MAN. All men are by nature free and equal, and have certain inalienable rights, among which are enjoying life and liberty; acquiring, possessing and protecting property; securing happiness and securing safety.”
