Americans Aborted 63 Million Babies

Now we have Congressmen who want to replace them with Illegals

You can’t make this stuff up: Democratic Representative Jerry Nadler ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee said, “We need immigrants in this country,” “Our vegetables would rot in the ground if they weren’t being picked by many immigrants — many illegal immigrants. The fact is the birth rate in this country is way below replacement level which means our population is going to start shrinking.” Can you imagine that this man has been reelected 15 times to his N.Y. congressional seat? I have never heard a more racist and dumb statement from a sitting congressman except for Joe Biden when he was in Congress.

Congressman Nadler, like so many other liberals, is still screaming about the Supreme Court decision reversing Roe v Wade which allowed the abortion of 63 million American babies. He has just suggested that we replace them with Illegal Aliens. (This idea is just as bad as Dick Durban’s idea of recruiting illegals into our Military.) The total fertility rate is the average number of children a woman is expected to have over her lifetime which now sits at 1.64 children per woman in the U.S. This is the lowest rate recorded since the government began tracking these stats in the 1930s, and is well below the so-called “replacement-level fertility” of about 2.1 Had our Supreme Court not permitted the abortion of all of those babies and instead they were put them up for adoption we wouldn’t even be talking about replacements. Once again, we are our own worst enemy as bad decisions lead to bad outcomes.

We make it too easy to kill babies through abortion and at the same time make it difficult for parents to have large families with the continued increases in the cost of living caused by high inflation. The average cost for a family of four to get by today is between $85 and $100,000 a year. Real median household income was $74,580 in 2022. The economics of raising a child have soared dramatically. The cost has reached over $310,000 from birth to age 17 and continues to rise. The two largest increases have been in food 21% and housing 32%. Even now married couples are thinking twice about adding to their families with inflation soaring to a 40-year high. The middle class traditionally has had the largest birth rate but there is no incentive to have more than 1 or 2 children. Fewer Americans are earning more than their parents making it difficult to have larger families. We also find that more women are waiting longer in life pursuing careers before they have children and again, they are still having less than in previous decades. If we want to turn this population conundrum around, we need to figure out how to incentivize couples to have more children by making it economically feasible.

If you look at the inflation rate since 1960 it will tell you why it has become more difficult to raise a large family. According to Inflation Tool, “The inflation rate in the United States between 1960 and today has been 938.32%, which translates into a total increase of $938.32. This means that 100 dollars in 1960 are equivalent to 1,038.32 dollars in 2024. In other words, the purchasing power of $100 in 1960 equals $1,038.32 today. The average annual inflation rate between these periods has been 3.72%.”

The number of American middle-class families have dropped from 61% to 50% by 2021 and the numbers continue to fall. No, they have not moved up the economic ladder but instead continue to financially lose ground to upper-income families. If the 11 million illegal immigrants already in our country are permitted to have work visas, can you imagine what a devastating effect it could have on the middle class economically?

The national center for health statistics says the birth rate in the U.S. has decreased from about 23.7 per 1,000 people in 1960 to only 12.4 in 2015. In the short time since the oldest millennials turned 18 in 1999, the birth rate has dropped 14%. Once again much of this has been caused by economic concerns. When you think about the huge debt incurred for education and the continued increases in the cost of living and raising a child there is no incentive for people to have more children.

So instead of supporting the middle class we are footing the bill that will exceed $450 Billion since Biden opened the borders to subsidize the illegals entering our country. He supports illegal immigrants while American families struggle to put food on the table, gas in their cars, and heat in their homes. It has already been discussed in the Senate that they may give these illegals work permits which will affect many industries by keeping wages low with this abundance of job seekers. If this happens, we need some radical changes in the people who represent us in Washington. The cost of these illegals increases taxes, overloads emergency rooms, increases crime, and overcrowds classrooms for our children. In Illinois, the cost of Biden’s open border was $4.59 billion in 2022. That’s $930 per household every year and it is not even a border state.

Besides the cost burden these illegals impose on the American taxpayer, we must also consider the potential threat that is posed by those who want to do harm to our country. We have no idea how many potential terrorist insurgents have already embedded themselves in our cities or if and when they may strike to cause disruption or chaos. What we do know is there is an alarming number of young men of military age entering our crossing our border illegally many of whom are Chinese. It sure makes you wonder if we are not witnessing a coordinated silent invasion of our country and if these illegals have subversive intentions.

Today America is truly a country in decline because of the terrible decisions made by President Joe Biden and he still has a year left on his term to do even more damage. It’s time to get back to running our country like a business for the people instead of a piggy bank for corrupt liberal socialists who are spending like drunken sailors on a sinking ship. As we proceed with the primaries, I hope and pray that we can get Trump back in office as I doubt that any of the other candidates have the abilities or courage needed to get our country back on track. Trump is not a politician by trade like DeSantis and Haley but a businessman with a proven record of results. MAGA
