Wars and Corruption: While we are engaged in supporting the Ukraine war with Russia we are now engaged in another war with the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezbollah all backed by Iran. Does anyone want Trump back in office? We can all thank President Biden for giving Iran all the money they need to wage this war against our ally Israel. It seems that the world we live in is always in a state of war somewhere as if we don’t have enough problems with an incompetent president who has no business leading our nation and making important decisions. We are truly a nation in distress and it all started with the corruption of our of our elected officials and continues to this day. We have a president who is accused of using his political influence to help his son make business deals with foreign governments. There is a certain senator Menendez who has been accused of taking bribes of gold bars and cash for using his influence to benefit Egypt as a member of the House Foreign Relations Committee. Then there is also the adorable Nancy Pelosi Queen of the house who uses inside information every chance she gets to play in the stock market and garner millions for her personal account. I could go on and on about the problems with our elected representatives but it will not essentially change anything until the people of this country wake up to the fact that they are being screwed by the very people they trusted and elected to office.
We have been divided before: I need to regress back to some of my former articles, particularly the ones talking about how we have been propagandized by the left for decades. It is because of this propaganda that we now have a country that is divided to the point that I’m not sure we can survive as a nation. It was Abraham Lincoln who said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand”. This speech was in reference to slavery that the government cannot endure half slave and half free. He did not expect the Union to be dissolved or the house to fall but that it would cease to be divided and become all one thing. Either the opponents of slavery will arrest its spread or its advocates will push it forward, till it shall become lawful in all the States, old as well as new – North as well as South” This to me sounds very similar to the dilemma we are currently facing with the government and corporate elitists trying to control every aspect of our lives from what kind of cars we drive to what kind of stoves we can buy and food we eat.
So where do we go from here? As the presidential election heats up there will be continued pressure from the propagandists to circle the wagons of government and high-tech social media platforms to push for a democratic win in November. If this happens, we will surely be heading down the “Road to Perdition”. On the other hand if Trump and the Republicans can pull off a win, we might just be able to reel in the propaganda machines and get back on track to rebuilding our country. We are currently seeing some major shifts in the polls as even the Democrats are concerned about the insurgence of illegals and the problems that the larger cities are having to deal with. Even with a full court press by the liberal and social media working 24/7, it is hard getting the message out that “All is Well”. I have a lot of faith in the American people and their love of the freedoms our constitution affords them and as more of the Left becomes aware that their lives are being controlled by big government the sooner, they will figure out that it is time to take a hard right to fix the problem. That is if we are actually able to hold a fair and free presidential election in November that is not rigged by mail-in ballots.
At the Edge of a Cliff: Our country is on the edge of a cliff and it wouldn’t take much to push us off. As I said last week there will be serious problems that develop with all of the illegals that Biden has allowed to enter our country. Many of these illegals have decided to settle in sanctuary cities that do not have the capability to provide them with their basic needs of food, shelter, and medical care. The Biden administration has added to this problem by giving out free phones, credit cards, and travel—all on the U.S. taxpayers—and there is no way we can continue to support freebies. We are a nation with $33 trillion in debt and growing and the bill so far for this open border has been half a trillion dollars and climbing. We must stop the flow of illegals now. Continuing to allow an open border would mean an end to America as we know it which is the goal of the Left.
The danger of terrorists and a 3rd World War: I think most of us conservatives can agree that giving more money to the Ukraine is pure insanity as we can’t even account for the funds, we have already given them. The Neocons would love to see this war continue and have NATO take a role but if that happens there is a good chance that the Russians would not hesitate to use limited nuclear arms. Russia has elections in the middle of March of this year and we had better hope that Putin gets reelected as he is a moderate as the alternatives would be a lot worse. It would create a further escalation of hostilities leading to a potential 3rd world war and believe me we are not prepared with our current military to fight a war on 2 or 3 fronts, least of all a nuclear one. We have already been dragged into the Middle East hostilities as Iran has all of its terrorist elements wreaking havoc in the shipping lanes and our military bases. It is only a matter of time before they will attempt a terrorist attack on our country to prove our vulnerability. Even our own FBI is making statements about how much danger we are in not knowing where or who these potential terrorists are. Will we be fighting a war in our own country with the terrorists that we have allowed to cross our borders?
Will there be Compromise: We must find common ground within ourselves if we are going to survive this turmoil. Reason and common sense must prevail because if it doesn’t, there is the possibility of a real division of our states. We have just seen how Texas has reacted to the Biden administration and the Supreme Court allowing razor wire to be cut to allow more illegals to enter the country. Many of the Red State Governors have already sent troops and financial aid to help Texas close its border showing solidarity on this issue. Could we see a division take place between the Red and Blue states? It is certainly within the realm of possibility. What would happen if there were such a division? Would there be the potential for another civil war? How vulnerable would that make our country? Lots of questions but not many answers.
In Conclusion: I often ask people the question, “If you hold a pound of Hope in one hand and a pound of Dog Crap in the other which one weighs more?” Most of the time I get a blank stare. I would like to think that reason will prevail and this is not the end of times as many are now talking about. I believe God is testing us as a people and as a nation to see which road we decide to take. I pray every night that reason will prevail and that those who are the purveyors of evil will fail in their attempt to destroy this great experiment that has survived for almost 248 years.
