The Blame Game

If you’re not part of the solution, you are more than likely part of the problem, and certainly that is the junction that we are at today. I can’t remember a time in the 80 years I have been on this earth where there has been more discourse in America. Last week, I wrote about how our public education and higher education systems were the cause of many of today’s problems.

As parents, we should have been paying a lot more attention to what our children were being taught by a public system filled from top to bottom with liberal teachers and professors. In today’s article, I would like to concentrate on why we have so much corruption, which has been growing in our government since the 1960s.

How is it that we have a current president who has had some 90-plus indictments and a conspiracy against him from within our own government at the highest levels that tried to have him arrested and put him in jail? From the Crossfire Hurricane scam to the two attempted assassination attempts on his life, Trump has weathered a political lawfare storm from a government that was totally corrupted from the inside out. For decades, there has always been a hidden element in our society of elitists who have chosen the leaders who would run our country. Trump was not one of the chosen, and this elitist group were scared to death when he walked down that escalator at Trump Plaza and announced he was running for President. Trump, a self-made billionaire and astute businessman, was clearly seen as a disruptor to this bureaucratic empire that took decades to build. From the beginning, the left has had a coordinated effort to stop this outsider from destroying their plans to turn America into a third-world country where they would control its people from cradle to grave.

In my opinion, we have only had two presidents in the past 65 years who had America’s well-being at heart, Reagan and Trump. All of the others were nothing but elitists who cared only about keeping their elitist status quo and increasing their power while spending our tax dollars on useless wars and foreign aid. We are only beginning to see the tip of the corruption that has contaminated our government bureaucracy for the past six decades. Trump has been at the forefront of a process to dismantle this bureaucratic cabal, both on the left and right. These diehard bureaucrats are watching decades of misallocation of taxpayer dollars disappear into thin air as Trump demolishes many of their government agencies and rebuilds them to make them more effective and efficient. For instance, we just experienced the longest shutdown of our federal government in history, yet the education of our children was unaffected. So why do we need a Government Department of Education? The simple answer is we don’t, as it only serves the Teachers’ Unions.

If we look back decades, we can see how the cost of government has grown exponentially, and it should tell every American that there is something seriously wrong with how our tax dollars are spent. In 1960, our national debt was $286 billion, and today we have a national debt that just crossed the $38 trillion mark. Thank goodness 75% of our debt, or about 28 trillion, is controlled by domestic investors and 19% by U.S. government agencies, with only 6% held by foreigners. Let’s face it, folks, we are in a serious hole when it comes to debt, and it continues to grow by the day.

So, who is responsible for creating all of this debt? Well, that depends on who you ask, but when it comes right down to it, we as Americans are all responsible for our current debt debacle because of the people we elected to run our country and its finances. For decades, we have pretty much elected presidents and legislators who were not business-minded. Instead, we voted for irresponsible political hacks and pork pullers who made some really bad decisions when it came to spending our tax dollars. When they couldn’t raise enough money through taxation, they just borrowed till they dropped.

When people complain about the cost of everything being up, I simply say, “Elections have Consequences”. These complainers, while they are hurting financially, have no concept of how badly our government was managed under the Biden Administration, and many of them voted him into office. Inflation over the 4 years of Biden’s reign was 21%. The 12 million illegals whom he let enter the country also hurt the average American worker, as 90% of new job growth went to these illegals, who were willing to accept lower wages. It was also the Biden administration’s ill-conceived climate polices that cost Americans dearly as he stopped almost all oil exploration, causing energy prices to skyrocket while emptying out our strategic oil reserves, and pretended prices were coming down.

It wasn’t just energy that caused the terrible inflation; it was the 107,000 pages of new rules put on the books during his term, with an estimated cost of more than $1.8 trillion for goods and services. This was the highest number of recorded new rules for any previous administration in our history. Trump is in the process of trying to reverse all of this damage that was done in 4 short years of democratic rule, and it will take time to unwind all of these problems.

Let me remind all of you doubting Thomases that during Trump’s first term, he turned our economic situation around quickly, as we saw the strongest economy we had in 50 years. According to the Heritage Foundation, middle-class incomes, after adjusting for inflation, had surged by $5,000 by 2019. We finally had a businessman in charge of our country who knew what he was doing instead of some political pumpkin head with a degree in how to tax and spend. We also had the biggest tax cut in history, and that tax cut was just renewed as most workers will see a nice upside change in their paychecks starting January 1st of 2026.

We are on the cusp of a great economic boom because we actually have an executive who has a mind for business, and we are going to see growth better than his first four years as president. Corporations are breaking ground every day for new factories that will employ tens of thousands of American workers. Trump has gotten foreign countries to commit to spending trillions of their capital for this new growth. We have too many Americans who want to blame everyone but themselves for our problems. I want you all to remember that Crazy Joe Biden didn’t take the presidency by force; we the people voted him into office, and NO, I didn’t vote for him. Yes, a bad choice was made, but don’t blame Trump for the American voters’ mistake.

Trump is trying to right a ship that has been listing for four years, and he needs our support and the support of our republican congress and Senate. I give you fair warning that if we don’t keep the House and the Senate in the midterms, this ship will become the Titanic very quickly. So, please stop complaining and start supporting. If you don’t like some of the things he says, just remember what he has gone through from lawfare to 2 attempted assassinations, and think about the dope we had for the last 4 years, who almost destroyed America. Let me remind everyone that in our last state election, only 28% of our registered voters came out to vote, and if we do that next November, you are not going to like the results. Make your vote count in November of 2026.
