While 350 newspapers around the globe are writing fake news articles about President Trump, we would like to thank him for the many good things he has done to turn around our country from eight years of oppression by former president Obama. Since taking office, President Trump has strengthened American leadership, security, prosperity, and accountability. The American economy is stronger, we have more employment opportunities and one of the lowest employment rates in our history. Consumer confidence is at all-time highs and business is booming around the country. President Trump has shown superior leadership on the world stage, stood up to threats to our national security and fought to increase a military budget to rebuild what Obama laid to waste.
We finally have a president who is putting America and Americans first and since taking office he has been responsible for creating 3 million new jobs and brought back over 300,000 manufacturing positions and over 300,000 construction jobs. Unemployment has dropped to 3.7% and there are 6.6 million job openings that need to be filled. He has signed an executive order to expand apprenticeship opportunities and made job training a priority. He has cut taxes for American families and businesses allowing them to keep more of what they make and to make our businesses more competitive. American families received 3.2 trillion in tax cuts while the corporate tax rate was lowered from 35 to 21%.
He has rolled back regulations for farmers, and energy producers by rolling back rules such as the Waters of the United States Rule and the Clean Power Act. He reduced many of the onerous regulations affecting banks and credit unions by the Dodd-Frank Act. He withdrew us from the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement and the Paris Climate Change Accord. He is the first president to defend American companies from the theft of intellectual properties by the Chinese and has worked to get fairer trade agreements from the many countries that have been taking advantage of us for too many years.
After too many years of past presidents have been pandering to the American people about the moving of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem while the president has kept his promise and moved the embassy. He has canceled the ill-conceived Iran Treaty and snuffed out ISIS to the point where they have become irrelevant. President Trump is the only president to meet with the head of North Korea and start negotiations for denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and got 3 hostages released in the process. North Korea has also begun to send home the remains of those Americans who died during the Korean conflict. He has worked to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws while protecting our local communities by declaring war on the MS-13 thugs.
He has changed the rules of the Veterans Administration so that employees who are not doing their jobs can be fired and provide our veterans with more choice in the care they receive. He has confirmed the most circuit court judges of any President in their first year and appointed two new conservative judges to the Supreme Court. He has eliminated the penalty for Obamacare’s burdensome individual mandate and is in the process of making it easier for Americans to obtain healthcare at a reasonable cost through associations and has gotten drug companies to lower the prices of their products. He also signed an executive order to protect free speech and religious liberties.
All in all, there has never in history been another president that has accomplished as much as he has in such a short period of time and against all odds. He has had to fight the Democrats, the RINO Republicans and the liberal media who have hounded him every day since he has taken office. It’s time to say thanks and pray that this man gets to serve a full two terms so that our country can once again flourish and we can “Make America Great Again”.
