WHO REALLY CONTROLS IDAHO’S LEGISLATURE??
IS IACI HERDING OUR LEGISLATORS??

What is happening to Greg Pruett and his Constitutional Carry bill is the same thing that happens to any bill that the establishment or the lobbyists are against. They either say there is something wrong with the language, or they let it die in committee without a hearing, or they bring it up and don’t act on it until it is too late in the session.
Corporate Lobbyists like IACI (Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry) are the ones who control our legislature, not the people. They no longer do the bidding of the people; it’s the players with the big money at election time and the unlimited expense accounts for wining and dining legislators that now make the decisions for Idaho.
Just take the case of Alex LaBeau and the internal e-mail that was released with his criticism of Senator Siddoway saying how irrelevant he and his committee are. This was a glimpse into the inner workings of this corporate lobbyist group who has been influencing policy and politics in Idaho for too many years to count. They should change their name to the Idaho Association of Intimidation and Corruption. This association is made up of our so-called Captains of Industry, the pillars of the community. They have been using their money and power since 2006 to influence what bill get presented and passed in our legislature and which ones die in committee.
If we were to take a look at the membership of IACI, we can clearly see it is a list of who’s who in corporate Idaho. Here are just a few of the members of the Board of Directors. Chairman, Mark Dunn VP with Simplot Corporation, Vice Chair, Bob Boeh, Idaho Forest Group, Vice Chair Elect Zelda Geyer-Sylvia CEO of Blue Cross of Idaho, Vice Chair Tom Harris President, Western States Equipment Co., Scott Madison, Exec. V.P. of Intermountain Gas and Secretary, Mark Lliteras, Executive V.P. Wells Fargo Bank.
What’s happening with the Constitutional Carry bill is the same thing that is happening with bill 1085 to get rid of the SBAC test and what will happen to any bill that the lobbyists and establishment politician’s want to keep from becoming law. The SBAC test bill is being held hostage because Chairman of the House Education Committee Reed DeMorduant does not want to deal with it. Why we ask is their all of this resistance to these two bills when it is clear that the people of Idaho want them passed?
It’s time to change the system in our state and put the power back in the hands of the people, not the lobbyists and politicians. I only hope that the Directors of IACI change their ways although you know the old saying “Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely.” The money that is controlled by this group is insurmountable, and they wield it around in each and every election taking out politicians who oppose them and installing those who will hang on their every word. Just take a look at politicians who received donations from the IACI Pac’s and the Corporations which make up its membership, then you can see clearly who will do their bidding and who will not.
Before you go to the polls get some knowledge about your representatives and senators. Know what they stand for and how they have voted in the past.
