Did you know that the Gem State Patriot has more than 1,600 articles published on our website?
We have never gone out and actively sought donations to support our news website and email newsletter, but the costs of maintaining our server and sending out regular emails have increased even as our readership and subscriber lists have grown.
We have always been able to manage our costs by being frugal with how we spend the few donations we receive each year, but, as the attacks on conservatives from the media and elsewhere are on the rise and censorship from social media platforms is increasing, we believe the time has come to expand our efforts. Our goal this year is to bring on more local writers and contributors who can provide unique and valuable insights into what is happening within the legislature and throughout the state of Idaho.
With this goal in mind, we are asking our readers, please, if you have the means, donate to our cause. We do not want to get into the business of offering paid subscriptions, because we believe that providing our newsletter to the public without charge is a valuable resource for conservatives in Idaho.
We will continue to offer you interesting articles and essential information on our website and in our email newsletter, but we need your help. Please consider making a donation to help with our operating costs and to help us do more to advance the cause of conservatism in Idaho.
