If you’re not part of the Solution, you’re part of the Problem
Where do you think America is today? I ask that question because I’m not sure most Americans have an answer. We have been and continue to be attacked whether it be the corrupt society we live in with continued deterioration of our moral and God loving foundations to a constant division that will eventually lead to our destruction. The family unit is the bedrock of our society and it has been under attack relentlessly as we find more Americans steering away from both a spiritual and family lifestyle. The most recent divorce rate tells a sad story as 45% of first marriages in the U.S. experience marital disruption via either divorce or permanent separation.
There are over 900,000 divorces in the U.S. every year and approximately two million marriages. That’s one divorce every 30 seconds, 108 per hour, and 2,600 per day. Casual relationships and infidelity are taking the place of marriage as we see a shift in cultural values. Children are looking more like a burden than a blessing as the birth rate drops to astoundingly low levels. In 1960 the birth rate was 23.70 per thousand people and in 2022 it dropped by more than half at 11 per thousand.
Education over the last 65 years has been replaced by indoctrination as schools prioritize ideological conformity over critical thinking. We even find that textbooks have been altered and in some cases to rewrite history creating cynicism and division as children are taught to question authority fostering entitlement and resentment which can result in hostile values. All the while the technology and entertainment industries promote outrage, misinformation, and division of our societal values. It is difficult to tune into a TV program that is not offering the promotion of violence, materialism, and hedonism desensitizing us and making vice seem appealing.
We have found that too many of our leaders are power hungry greedy individuals in positions of influence as we discover they are entangled in scandals and hypocrisy. We have lost the trust that was expected when we elected them and found that it was all a conspiracy to stoke fear and conflict to keep society fragmented. We have seen a widening of the gap between the rich and poor as greed is rewarded and dependency becomes the plight of the poor. The poor turn to religion but it has become a prime target of the disruptors who prioritize wealth and popularity over truth. This promotes shallow and unchallenging faith leading to atheism and agnosticism as being intellectually superior. The US population has a median age of 39 years old, while most religious denominations have a median age of congregants between 50 and 60 years old.
Over half (54%) of active adult church members are 60 years old or older. This does not bode well for our future if our younger generation have little or no religious background which could lead to bad behaviors of promiscuity, dishonesty, and addiction. Just from fentanyl alone, we are experiencing over 100,000 deaths a year most of them are young Americans in the prime of life. Many of our young people have become desensitized, which weakens their moral compass. Just look at the protests that have and are still taking place at many of our most prestigious colleges and universities as parents pay fortunes for their children to be exploited by the new age indoctrination called higher education. They teach race, class, gender, and politics to keep that all-important division that preserves the discord and fighting while fostering a culture of outrage and blame keeping society fractured and hostile.
We have been polarized politically, culturally, and ideologically to the point where compromise seems almost impossible. In most cases social media has become not only the confrontational weapon of mass destruction but the means to keep people angry, isolated, and surrounded by ideas that fuel their bias. As artificial intelligence becomes more prominent it will be used in a similar manner to discredit science, journalism, and the legal system. We have already experienced the Covid Lies and Political Lawfare promoted by cultist journalism.
Americans have found that there are very few who can be trusted in our government as Trump and Elon Musk continue to find corruption and waste around every corner and in every segment of government yet the left continues to push their lies through the liberal media channels. They claim foul while chanting from prewritten scripts and dance in the streets financed by NGO’s who have been financed by our tax dollars. The left has been working for over half a century to undermine our society and government. Fortunately, many of us have made a wise choice electing Donald Trump as President however; there is purportedly a large percentage on the left who think it would be ok if he and others were eliminated. This should tell us that there is no real solution to this problem in terms of reconciliation between the left and right only a battle that will continue till one side capitulates.
The Democratic Party is planning to undermine society by promoting moral relativism, controlling education, and sowing division. They will promote progressive social policies by attempting to expand LGBTQ+ rights, gender identity recognition and more abortion access challenging traditional moral standards. They will push for significant government in our education process with CRT and comp-sex education while controlling the narrative taught in schools to our children. They will place emphasis on identity politics fostering differences based on race, gender and class creating tensions between communities. They will continue to undermine traditional family and religious values to reduce their influence. There will be a further push to legalize marijuana to further shift societal norms. Once again they will seek the weaponization of Technology and Social Media in an attempt to control the narratives and silence dissenting voices as they did for many years in secret through political pressure.
What must the Right do to combat this: Keep our eyes on traditional values, free market policies, and school choice. We must beware not to sow division on issues like immigration and deregulatory economic policies that would widen inequality and be exploited by the left. We need to promote values like ethics, compassion, honesty, and responsibility everywhere to prevent moral erosion. We need to support conservative communities, protect religious values and freedom while encouraging interfaith conversations to build mutual respect and reduce conflict. We also need to concentrate on fostering unity and understanding as we push for transparency in government, media and corporations. We need to find and support leaders who will prioritize integrity and service over profit and power. The people need to activate and participate in their communities by attending school board meetings, regular local government meetings and making sure they get to the ballot box on election day to make their voice heard. We are on the right track but it would not take much to derail this MAGA movement that is bringing our country back to greatness so get on the Trump Train as we all work to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

One thing that could be done on divorce is for the church to opt out of the marriage go round. A return to church marriage certificates rather than state licenses would be a good first step. Bear in mind this was the norm for centuries. This would make marriage a much more serious issue within the church and would affect membership. The church cannot function in the marriage role as an ancillary to the state, which is what is now occurring.
On education: privatize it. Home schooling or home schooling groups can make up the backbone of a new system with plenty of room for private schooling where it can be supported. Socialized education is a model that has passed its “best by” date. What we need to do is break out of failed paradigms as this article suggests.
You have expressed very well as to what is and has happened to our great country. I really don’t know where we are headed. If history repeats as it usually does, this Nation be in a recline from which it will not recover. God gave us this country, but will He let us keep it when so much of our population has turned their back upon Him. I really don’t know. I do know that our divorce rate has nothing to do with the problem of having to obtain a marriage license from the government. Divorce is basically caused by four things: money, politics, sex and lack of moral, religious values. Incidentally, I certainly pray you have someone to continue your writing when you have to give it up. People need to be able to know the truth.
