Last minute candidate announces run for State Senator. Vows to offer choice and power back to the People of Idaho.
Twin Falls – March 8, 2018 – Jay S Waters III of Twin Falls has and will continue to voice the problem with current state officials withholding bills in current seats. As a supporter of a truly free, people regulated government, Jay has voiced his decision to offer people his open heart and mind, love of state, country and a strong will to make a better Idaho.
Waters III is a 29-year-old long-time resident of Idaho. Being born in Spokane, WA, he eventually returned home to Idaho at the age of 9 years. Growing up closely with family and a strong community has been a constant parenting bullet for Jay’s family and those who have impacted his life. In 2016 Jay gained the opportunity to begin teaching the next generation. Vowing to pass on his strong family tradition and values, he welcomed his son, Jay S Waters IV.
“I HEARTILY ACCEPT the motto,—’That government is best which governs least;’ and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically.” — Thoreau
Jay is a proud believer in the constitution. He believes to his core that the ability to keep bills ‘stashed away for safe keeping’ is an egregious violation of the first amendment. “There is a reason that the founders made that most important. As long as free choice of the people is represented in the government, only then can we be free.” Jay elaborated. “If the people aren’t allowed to voice their opinion, the forefathers envision is squandered.”
When asked who he is, Jay described a man who is dedicated to raising his son as he was, willing to always pave the way for his son to have more opportunities than he did. Jay is fond of the outdoors and hunting, fishing, trapping and survival camping. He is thankful for the great opportunities Idaho has to offer. He hopes to continue those opportunities with his son by his side.
Jay looks forward to listening to all of his constituents. And relaying their voice loud and clear. Jay promises to help come to solutions to today’s biggest challenges. Mr. Waters III believes that in order to provide answers, one must first listen to the question.
