With the advent of two of the Treasure Valleys’ two most populated cities coming out in support of Gay Pride event which includes children participating in a Drag Queen event, one has to think “What in heaven’s name is going on in our state?”
As I’m writing this, there is a wildfire on Brundage Mountain just 7 miles from our home in Meadow Creek yet I find myself being more worried about the effect of Gay Pride on our children than I am about the fire. I can insure my home for a fire, but I can’t insure my grandchildren and great-grandchildren from this Gay Agenda being pushed on our children with these Drag Queen events. Two of Idaho’s largest population centers are about to run off the cliff of WOKENESS and I’m not sure how we are going to change that. It appears that we have two liberal mayors in Boise and Meridian who are hell-bent on making Idaho into the new Portland, Oregon.
I spent 15 years living in Meridian and I must tell you that getting out of that city three years ago was the best thing I could have done. For all of the problems that I complained about with former Mayor Tammy de Weerd, I would much prefer her to the current leftist progressive who now sits in her chair. While I found some of Tammy’s exploits with developers quite appalling it is nothing compared to this doofus who is moving Meridian more and more to the left with his resolutions and proclamations.
Meridian has added over 22,000 new residents over the past several years and will continue to grow as long as there is housing to move into. In 2020 Meridian was voted by Money magazine as one of the 50 best places to live in the U.S. It’s hard to believe that it has changed so much in just two years but here we are folks at the precipice of WOKENESS.
This Gay pride event has stirred the people of Idaho up so much that they are finally trying to take their state back because of this Drag Queen children’s event. This appears to be the straw that broke the camel’s back. The fact that several of the most prominent companies who were supporting this Event have withdrawn their support is a huge victory and it proves that if we stand together, we have the power to change events by doing just what the liberals do, use the power of our dollars. Conservatives can have the same power of the purse as the leftists’ liberals and it is high time that they started standing up and saying No More.
The Fact that the libs even tried to have this Drag Queen event with children involved has sent a chill down the spine of just about every parent in Idaho. Maybe this will be the catalyst to get the conservative base to wake up to how the liberals’ movement is trying to change our state. Maybe this is a critical moment in time for Idaho where our religious leaders will finally stand up and start fighting back against these Woke changes that are being made by the very people who we have elected to run our state.
Why are the corporations of our country and our state supporting such a small group? Because they shout louder and threaten them until they give them money and support for their cause. For the edification of any of the corporate heads that might be reading this, it is estimated that 0.24% of Idaho residents are gay which ranks Idaho as the 36th gayest state in the nation. That means there are a total of 1,629 gay households in The Gem State. In 2021, an estimated 7% of the U.S. population were gay up from 5.6% in 2020. Their numbers have been growing because of government and corporate support. What I don’t understand is why corporations are supporting such a small percentage of the population.
Mayor McLean will not support a July 4th parade but supports this Gay Drag Queen event which brings a new sense of sexual perversion to the forefront with our children. The power of the purse lies with the people, and they need to exercise that power to change the mindset of the corporations much like the liberals and gays target companies to get support for their causes. We can change our state if we stick together and fight this sick Woke infection that is growing like a cancer in our country, but we must fight back the same way the liberals do with our dollars.
Where are all of our supposed conservative legislators who should be speaking out against this gay pride event for children? They are nowhere to be found and that is where the real problem lies in our state. If it weren’t for people like Dorothy Moon standing up for the conservative values of Idaho, you can be sure that this children’s Drag Queen show would still be going forward. The politicians are not speaking out because they are afraid of retribution by the corporations who finance their campaigns. I have said time and again that the problem with our state is the IACI corporate lobby who are leading this charge of Wokeness and are sponsors themselves of this Gay Pride event with the Drag Queens.
I, for one, would like to see Idahoans clean house this year in the November election by voting Governor Little out of office and vote in someone like Ammon Bundy who has a set of ethical and moral values that will take our state back to the conservative Freedom and God loving state we once were. It’s time for Idahoans to send a message that we are no longer going to put up with these liberal antics and stop supporting politicians like Boise’s Mayor McLean and Mayor Simison of Meridian who are trying to turn our state into another Portland.
In closing, I would like to ask the citizens of Idaho why Governor Little isn’t speaking out on this matter. He ran commercials during his primary campaign about what a conservative he is showing his family with his children and grandchildren, yet we have not heard a peep out of him condemning this Drag Queen show with children. If this doesn’t tell you that our Governor isn’t in charge of our state, I don’t know what does. He takes his orders from the corporate elite like IACI because they are the ones who fund his campaigns. People of Idaho I implore you to open your eyes and see just how our state is changing into a liberal bastion of Wokeness. Only you can change it on November 8th at the polls.
