Idahoans are ridding themselves of the Good Old Boys Club

This past Saturday another powerful Idaho establishment Republican was ousted from his position and replaced with a more liberty minded person.

When Ammon Bundy announced that he was running for governor last year the Idaho Good Old Boys about lost their minds. Tom Luna, the Republican Chairman, called an emergency meeting and published a full-page letter denouncing Bundy as a Republican candidate. The Republican Party establishment openly vowed to oppose Ammon Bundy’s campaign and ensured that he would receive no party support. However, since they made this compact the Idaho Good Old Boys Club has been losing power.

Let’s just make a short list of some the most prominent establishment good old boys in Idaho that were not re-elected this past year. Attorney General Lawrence Wasden (after 20 years in office), Senator Fred Martin, Senator Jim Rice, Senator Steven Thayne, Senator James Patrick, Representative Greg Chaney and now Tom Luna, the Republican Party Chairman, without mentioning others.

It is hard to pin-point the exact reason one thing or another takes place in politics, and this shift in Idaho power is no different. Whether it’s backlash from the COVID lockdowns, or the way the Bundy campaign has subversively gone after the establishment boys, or Idahoans relating the Idaho Good Old Boys Club to the Biden administration, we may never know. Most likely a combination of things. But the results are being tallied, and so far, it is not looking good for the IACI funded officials that have held power in Idaho for the past three decades. Dorothy Moon’s win at the GOP convention last Saturday may be a strong indicator of the direction Idaho will be taking for the next decade or two. Is Idaho the state that will start a revival back to traditional conservative government? Are Idahoans ready for ultra-conservative, salty leaders like Ammon Bundy? Time will tell, but one thing is for certain, Idahoans are rejecting the status quo and appear to be looking for leadership that will take them back to their conservative roots.

Not “ultra-conservative” but simply conservative. The GOP has swung so far left that they are now to the left of the Democrats I grew up with in the ‘60s and ‘70s.
I think Idahoans are finally ready to reject the institutional corruption of the big-government/donor system and ready to embrace a return to small government led by the people.

Here’s a little something I wrote about Ammon Bundy. I hope you like it…

EXTREMIST? NO! EXTREME? YES!

Ammon Bundy is often labeled as “an extremist.” No, Bundy is not “an extremist.” Yes, Bundy IS extreme: EXTREME for liberty, parental rights, property rights, Constitutional rights, and natural human rights!

Although never convicted of a violent crime, Bundy WAS jailed for peaceful protests and protecting the liberty of others. He spent two years in federal prison (almost a year in solitary) and was found INNOCENT. Who else was similarly jailed? Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Joseph Smith.

Yes, I support Bundy for Governor. You may not agree with all of Bundy’s positions; neither do I. However, all Idahoans should support candidates with a record: A record of fighting for liberty and natural rights, even risking imprisonment to defend the rights of others.

Several freedom candidates in the May 2022 primary lost to well-funded, establishment incumbents who rarely used or embodied the words “freedom,” “liberty,” “rights,” or “Constitution.” Idaho must stand for liberty in November. I see no other Governor candidate with Ammon Bundy’s long record of being extreme for natural rights while also exhibiting executive ability, team-building skills, business acumen, and boundless energy. Do you?

“A picture is worth a thousand words”

Or what a bully looks like after he has been confronted.

Yes, we dedicated conservatives are more than ready for a good honest man, Ammon Bundy, to lead this state and continue in its conservative roots. Ammon is a man with high morals and integrity. If you know him you know this to be true. Many lies about him have been told and spread by the media. His leadership is sorely needed in a time such as this. I truly hope and pray that Idahoans on election day will realize the future of their state lay in their vote. The only clear choice is Ammon Bundy. God bless him and us.

Idahoans need honest conservative leadership. We need an “outsider” , not a polished politican who lies to get elected and once elected, behaves like a Democrat. I’ll gladly cast my vote for Ammon Bundy for governor .

Dear Idaho politicians: It is really easy to be for The People, simply follow leaders such as Rand Paul, Jim Jordan, Kristi Noem, Ron DeSantis and President Donald J Trump.

Our leadership in the Executive Branch, Senate(State and Federal), House(State and Federal) and Judicial has been horrendously liberal for decades.

Let’s elect people who will follow the Constitution, that are for Freedom and strive for smaller government in all sectors.
