It’s been encouraging to see the enthusiastic support from conservatives across the state as I have been campaigning for Lieutenant Governor. Thank you to all of you who have come to my events, donated, and even gone door-to-door to bring more support to the campaign!
As we get closer to the primary, the Establishment (or, as I call it, the “Boise Swamp”) has accelerated its efforts to derail my campaign and place current House Speaker Scott Bedke in the office of Lieutenant Governor. But here’s the thing: Bedke is no conservative. He is hand-picked by special interest groups and has his hands deep into the pockets of multinational corporations.
Such is politics, but it doesn’t have to be that way in Idaho.
The latest effort by the Swamp (after the legislative “witch hunt,” previously covered by the Gem State Patriot) is a partnership with the left-leaning media to push a nuisance lawsuit.
This lawsuit is over a “public records request” for records that don’t exist. The legislative services office even searched all my files and found nothing related to their request. I’ve provided all that they’ve asked, and at this point they’re just coming up with ways to dig up imaginary “dirt.”
The leftists are desperate to distract our campaign and increase their handpicked candidate’s chance of victory, even if it means bald-faced lies.
Whether it’s accusing innocent people of wrongdoing, or devising nuisance lawsuits against political opponents, the Boise Swamp and Idaho’s very own left-leaning media are trying their best to drag the state to the left. They’re not just trying to silence and censor me, I’m just the stepping stone to their plan to censor you.
I’m proud of Idaho, and I’ve realized even more these last few months just how many wonderful people are all across our state. Idaho has had enough of the establishment, and it’s past time to put someone in office who will stand up against the Boise Swamp!
The only thing that will stop them is electing true conservatives to leadership positions in Idaho.
Please join me in fighting for freedom in our state. Show up at the polls, volunteer at a local campaign, talk to your friends and family… do whatever you can, and together, we can keep Idaho free.
