DEI is a Powerful Component of NEA Contracts

It has been a year since the attempted assassination of President Trump at his rally in Butler Pennsylvania and we still have very few answers. You would think that after a year of investigation we would have some idea of why the shooter made this assassination attempt. Evidently there are some serious issues with the performance of the Secret Service and while there have been resignations and disciplinary actions many questions remain. After making a complete fool of herself, saying that the roof Crooks fired from was too sloped to put a team of snipers on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned in shame. Was she a DEI hire? In my opinion we came perilously close to losing a President because of an incompetent woke administration that implemented initiatives like DEI for hiring people in critical government positions.

America in my mind has always been a meritocracy where advancement was assessed by the individual’s commitment, contribution and critical thinking abilities which added value to the organization they worked for. DEI on the other hand was a way for those who were less competent, adept and in many cases had minority stature were elevated to positions they had no business being in. DEI programs’ discriminatory policies corrupted business hiring practices, and corporations need to rescind these policies. While many business corporations are beginning to shed their DEI policies websites of fortune 500 companies continue to list commitments to these policies while these programs advocate racial discrimination. This is a throwback to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which was a landmark law prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Government had no business pushing DEI initiatives but the left wanted change for change’s sake so they could continue to promote their battle cry of racial discrimination.

It was in June 2024, that Senator J. D. Vance (R–OH) introduced a proposal that would eliminate DEI policies from federal agencies. He made note of the fact in a press release that “DEI is a destructive ideology that breeds hatred and racial division. It has no place in our federal government or anywhere else in our society.” Most of the corporate sponsors of DEI have very different definitions of what it means to them, which gives pause as to why so many adopted something that in essence they could not define. This game of diversity hiring did nothing to strengthen the corporate structure of these companies and indeed put many people in positions that they never belonged in and it is no different for government agencies. Thanks to the election of President Trump, we are seeing an end to this DEI madness but it appears to still be prevalent in many of the government agencies of the so-called blue states.

While DEI appears to be sinking rapidly into the west both in the corporate world and our federal government it appears to be growing in Teachers Union Contracts. They are prioritizing race-based hiring practices, mandatory DEI trainings, and anti-racist development programs nationwide. These contracts are out of alignment with President Trumps directives ordering publicly funded educational institutions to cease racially discriminatory programs. DEI policies according to public records requests, show just how dominant race- and gender-based practices have become in public education.

America’s largest teachers’ union has abandoned educational excellence in favor of political indoctrination. Rather than focusing on declining reading, writing, and math scores, the NEA has prioritized training students as anti-Trump activists and promoting radical ideologies. In the NEA’s recent resolutions there is explicit support for training students as political activists. Is it any wonder that we have such discord at the campuses of many of our most prestigious colleges and universities? They have also adopted a position on immigration enforcement and want to see continued state support for illegals and stop any attempts to deny services to non-citizens. It appears that the NEA has forgotten that we are a nation of laws and our education system is here to serve the citizens who pay taxes not the people who have come to our country illegally.

Idahoans should be aware of how the NEA is trying to influence our children through our education system and we should remember the many trials and tribulations of stopping CRT from being taught in our schools. If you think the fight is over think again as the teachers’ unions will continue in their attempt to transfer their ideological ideas to our children in their classrooms. Our legislators have done much to stop the promotion of LGBTQ+ in our classrooms yet we still have teachers who continue to be obstinate in promoting their own agendas. We only need to look at our Boise Mayor who has turned the municipal building of our capital into a promotion for the LGBTQ+ community by flying the rainbow flag and adopting it as the flag for Boise.

While we have elected a president who is working for the conservatives of this country he cannot turn our country around without our help. I find the resolutions being put out in NEA contracts to be absolutely deplorable and it will be up to us to stop these programs from being initiated in our classrooms. Parents need to be vigilant when it comes to what their children are being taught in school and need to be participating in school board meetings and PTA’S. If we don’t speak up our children will become the victims of these woke philosophy’s being promoted in our schools. So: “Be sober-minded and alert, for your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.” And our children are an easy target.
