I was thinking about what I wanted to say about what is happening in our country and all that came to mind was Don McLean’s hit song from 1971. Remembering 1971 brought back memories of the end of the Vietnam War and the horrific loss of the 58,220 service men and women who died needlessly because of bad political choices. Many of today’s problems have been caused by the very people we have trusted and elected to govern us. I often ask myself how we could have gotten our country into such a mess that the very viability of our Republic is at stake. With each passing day we find out just how corrupt our elected officials have become using their offices for personal gain not public service. These are the people we chose by our elective process to lead us, and it appears they have led us right up to the brink of our own destruction.
The path we are currently going down is a dangerous one with the huge influx of illegal immigrants whose backgrounds are unknown sucking the life out of our social services and causing crisis situations of crime and homelessness in sanctuary cities. We’ve most recently discovered that our own government agencies have been influencing our First Amendment rights for years without our knowledge. We have a military whose readiness is becoming questionable as the newly appointed woke military hierarchy choose to teach pronoun use over military strategy. We have a national debt that has been out of control for the past two decades and inflation that is choking the life out of the average American family. It is hard for most Americans to believe that it was George Bush and Barrack Obama who added 20 trillion to our debt in just 16 years showing us that both Republicans and Democrats have no financial responsibility. I often ask myself why have we made so many bad choices? The only answer I can come up with is that too many of us have lost our critical thinking ability and been heavily influenced by the media courtesy of our Washington bureaucracy.
Until Trump won the presidency in 2016, Americans didn’t know that our country could be so prosperous without having a war. His election was a catastrophic event for the left as the elitist bureaucrats—both Democratic and Republican—feared losing their power. This is the very reason they attacked Trump from every imaginable angle. We the people created this bureaucratic monster that is eating us alive so that they can continue to reign over us more than King George did before the revolution. The bureaucracy is so scared of losing power that they were willing to rig an election to install a loser senator and former vice president who can’t put two coherent sentences together and are leading our country down a path to socialism.
I would not put anything past the Washington Neocons who are so desperate to hold on to power and continue to keep us in a continual state of war and debt that will eventually send our country off a cliff. Trump gave us 4 great years of prosperity without getting us into another war. There was no fear in America till the neocon bureaucrats saw that President Trump was so successful they could no longer deny the reality of a booming economy and a higher standard of living for most Americans. This is the reason they worked so hard to discredit Trump by any means possible. They even went so far as to create a pandemic scenario from what is now considered nothing more than a bad flu bug. This was a government creating a crisis to further their leftist agenda by destroying a booming economy by allowing the left to elect Joe Biden as President.
Fear is a powerful emotion that plays an important role in survival. When you face danger you experience fear, you go through what is known as the flight or fight response. There are three stages of fight-or-flight the alarm stage, the resistance stage, and the exhaustion stage. If the first two stages occur repeatedly over time, the body and mind begin to break down eventually causing exhaustion. Since 2020 Americans have been facing repeated stressors and are constantly being reminded of the dangers of not wearing masks and not getting vaccinated. This propaganda permeated just about every aspect of our lives. Many still live in fear of another pandemic as the government warns of a new strain of Covid. We still have people walking around the supermarkets in McCall wearing face masks.
Fear is the weapon of choice for the left. It started with the phony pandemic, and they are now using the economy and social instability. They claim that fossil fuels are causing climate change and have used this false narrative to kill our energy independence bringing in high inflation. They are also socially disrupting our lives by allowing unlimited numbers of illegal aliens to enter our country along with enough drugs to kill seventy thousand Americans a year. All of these problems have been artificially created to bring about more fear and stress. American families have seen their buying power drop by six thousand dollars since Joe was elected and many are resorting to the use of high-interest credit cards to make ends meet. Increased criminal activity continues to grow in the Blue cities, further increasing the fear and stress levels. All of these artificially induced problems are being promoted by the legacy and social media platforms to induce more fear in the populace. We have even seen the weaponization of the DOJ and other law enforcement agencies that create fear for anyone who has conservative values.
Big government is well-versed in how to take advantage of fear. You can bet your last dollar that they will use it to win this next election because they realize that if they don’t the game will be over especially if Trump is elected. Trump and Biden are currently running neck and neck in many of the polls so be aware that the left will stop at nothing to win even if it means giving illegals amnesty, work papers, and drivers licenses so they can vote in 2024. This is why the Biden administration has put out a welcome sign at the border and will do nothing to stop the flow of illegals. We also have a House and Senate that are complicit in allowing this to continue, which should show us that we have the wrong people representing us. Don’t think for a minute that the left is done with their dirty tricks as we approach November 2024, they are already preparing for more of the same shenanigans that they pulled in 2020 with mail-in voting and ballot harvesting.
My bet is that Biden’s cognitive decline will keep him from running for the Democratic nomination and Kamala has proven that she is incapable of running anything but her mouth. The Dem’s now have to look at other options and there are not many available except for maybe Gavin Newsom a failed governor or possibly Michelle Obama who says she wants nothing to do with the nomination. Other than those two I don’t have a clue who they could get to run against Trump who continues to be the leader in the polls for the republicans. This next election is for all the marbles and if we can’t get Trump reelected for a second term the alternative will be devastating to all of the constitutional freedoms, we hold so dear.
If the left can instill enough fear in 50% of the people as the polls are now showing, then it will not take much to get their candidate of choice elected. There are 210 million registered voters in the U.S. and voter turnout in 2020 was the highest in the 21st century at 155 million. The big question is will those 55 million who make up what I call the silent majority come out to vote in 24 for Trump as they would make the difference in deciding the future of our country.
You can be sure that the Left and the Neocon bureaucrats will do everything they can to influence how you vote as we already have had a preview of the extent they will go to stay in power from the 2020 election. Big tech will be in high gear using their social media and search platforms to influence how you vote. They are going to try and do a rerun of 2020 but with a new twist using the illegals to take them to the finish line. We need to put an end to the endless wars, unbridled spending, and continual challenges to our constitutional rights.
Make no mistake, my friends, this could be the last time you see free elections in our country, so make a point of exercising your rights and vote in 2024 or you will Get the Government you Deserve.
