Thank you, Charlie Kirk
I have written many articles on the decline of Christianity and the consistent drop in church attendance since the 1960s, but today I get an opportunity to tell our readers that “Christ is Back”. The assassination of Charlie Kirk was both devastating and religiously enlightening to the youth of our nation. These young people who followed this man who dared to say in a recent interview: “I’m nothing without Jesus. I’m a sinner. I fall incredibly short of the glory of God. We all do.”
There are many signs that are telling us Christianity is back in vogue, whether it be a surge in bible sales or the fact that young men are returning to worship in church. We have been seeing Christian worship music break records and religious revival themed films resonate for the past couple of years. It actually feels good to know that faith was not lost during the previous 4 years of hell here in America, when we never really knew who was running our country. I have always believed that America was not only the land of the free and the home of the brave, but also held the belief that “In God We Trust” were not just words printed on our money. Our nation was founded on Christianity, and many of our forefathers who founded and fought for this nation’s independence were religious men who believed in God and were not afraid to show their faith.
I find it interesting that it is the young men of our country who are leading this revival from our college campuses. Many of these pillars of higher learning have for decades been sowing the seeds of socialism and leading their students down the path of godless socialist attitudes. We are all indebted to Charlie Kirk, who selflessly spread the word far and wide that it is good to be a Christian, attend church, and love God. As a husband and father, he spread the word that it is once again good to get married and have a family. Charlie went beyond bringing young people back to Jesus Christ; he was the instrument that is bringing our young people back to conservative politics.
It was Charlie and Turning Point U.S.A. that were responsible for turning out a powerful new voice of young men who were in many ways responsible for President Trump and many other conservatives being elected. We have also seen how our president has embraced Christianity and makes a point of talking about God in many of his speeches. He talks about the power of prayer, one nation under God, and how his administration will support religious liberty and cultural policy.
Trump recently addressed the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., saying, “America has always been a nation that believes in the power of prayer, and we will never apologize for our faith, ever, never,”
If you have ever listened to President Kennedy’s speech on the SCOUTS decision to ban prayer in our schools and listen to the tone of his voice it would tell you that this is not something he wanted to happen.
Watch and listen here:
Unfortunately, we have had to deal with that decision for the past 63 years and I personally believe it has been instrumental in the decline in church attendance starting in the 1960’s. It was only last month that President Trump announced his administration will issue new guidance to provide “total protection” for prayer in schools. Could this be a new beginning for allowing prayer in our schools. Trump said “For most of our country’s history, the Bible was found in every classroom in the nation, yet in many schools today students are instead indoctrinated with anti-religious propaganda and some are punished for their religious beliefs. Very Strongly punished. It is ridiculous.” He added: “When faith gets weaker, our country sems to get weaker. When faith gets stronger, as it is right now, we’re having a good period of time after some rough years, good things happen for our country. It’s amazing the way it seems to work that way.”
The decline in church attendance in the sixties was nothing compared to the decline that took place from around 2000 to 2015. Who was leading our country for the better part of this steep decline? Give you one guess, the Great American Apologist Barrack Hussien Obama. I would contend that it does matter who is at the helm of the U.S.S. America and what their values are. I believe that Charlie Kirk was a true turning point for our country and he will be revered for decades for the part he played in turning the youth and our country around. “God is Back” in the lives of many Americans and we need to strengthen our faith if we are to survive and be the beacon of light for the free world. Personally, I believe if we are to survive and thrive we must stay the course and turn this country around and get back to its founding principles to once again become “One Nation Under God”.
The great divide that we currently have is not going to disappear quickly as it took decades to fester itself to the point we are now at. I do believe that if we have faith that the evil that has been foisted upon us for the last two decades will slowly fall by the wayside. We have seen the ugly head of corruption in our government and it needs to be routed out piece by piece and that is not going to happen overnight. The corrupt bureaucrats who have taken over our government are like an infestation of termites and I believe that President Trump is the exterminator who will wrest back the control they have had over our country for way too long. There is a cleansing that is currently taking place as the pillars of a corrupt government are falling down one at a time. We need to stay the course and have faith in the first president who has not been afraid to tell the American people the truth about how corrupt our government has been. He is taking all the actions necessary to correct this problem and in time will break the resistance of the left and bring back prosperity to the America we have all know and love.
We finally have a leader who is working for the people, not for himself or a political cartel that would enslave the people who elected them and turn our country into a cesspool of corruption. We have had enough of the Obama’s and Biden’s and it is time for America to get back to being a beacon of light for the rest of the world, embodied in Liberty, prosperity, religious freedom and justice for all.
“We Get the Government We Deserve”.
