Scammed by a Kindergartner?

“Never attempt to win by force what can be won by deception.” ― Niccolò Machiavelli, The Prince

After the Columbine High School massacre in 1994, zero-tolerance policies for weapons (perceived and/or real) and drugs in schools became the standard across the United States. Federal legislation was passed requiring states to expel any student who brought a firearm to school for one year, or lose all federal funding. Though this policy has come under attack because some people feel it penalizes a disproportionate number of minorities and several ludicrous student expulsions, it is well known and the stated purpose is to save lives. This policy is further supported by the “see something, say something” campaign by the Department of Homeland Security which instructs people to “Report suspicious activity to local law enforcement.”

Over the years, the main stream media has spoken out very little on such expulsions as a pop-tart chewed into the shape of a pistol and a finger gun, until now. Enter Ahmed Mohamed, a 14 year student in Irving, Texas.

Ahmed went to school with a “clock,” which consisted of a metallic pencil case containing a jumble of wires connected to a timing device that looked uncannily like a bomb. When images of the “clock” are placed side by side to the photo of an actual explosive device, they are virtually indistinguishable.

Ahmed showed the clock to one teacher who told him not to show it to anyone else. But, during another class, the “clock’s” alarm went off annoying the teacher and causing her to ask to see what was in the case. Inside the case was a circuit board wired to a power supply and a digital display. She immediately thought might be a bomb. When the teacher asked Ahmed to hand it over he refused causing her to call the police.

When the police arrived and asked Ahmed questions, he was passive-aggressive and unresponsive. Police spokesman James McLellan said that when questioned, the student “kept maintaining it was a clock, but there was no broader explanation,” such as why it was assembled and why it was beeping in class.

The London Guardian reported Irving school spokeswoman Lesley Weaver said the teacher’s actions weren’t unreasonable.

The device was suspicious to the teacher.

“We will always take necessary precautions to protect our students and to keep our school community as safe as possible,” Weaver said.

Ahmed was later released and no charges filed against him. This is when the real fireworks started. Almost immediately the main stream media turned Ahmed into a victim and expressed outrage over Ahmed Mohamed’s arrest while condemning the school for acting responsibly on behalf of its students. As is the norm for anything that can be twisted to bring in the race card and smack down law enforcement, President Obama tweeted “Cool clock, Ahmed, want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great.”

Ahmed has received commendation and free goodies from the likes of Google, Facebook, Twitter, and even the president of the United States. Just recently, his family announced they will meet dignitaries at the United Nations; later, after a jaunt to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, they hope to meet with President Obama.

The more this incident is looked into, the more it appears to have been orchestrated. Ahmed is lauded for his brilliance while the media propagandists ignore the fact that he himself stated the wire-laden device inside a metal suitcase looked suspicious. In one of the dozens of interviews that he gave in the immediate aftermath of his arrest he stated that he didn’t secure the case because “I didn’t want to unlock it to make it seem like a threat, so I just used a simple cable, so it won’t look that much suspicious.”

The “clock” itself has been shown to be a scam as it was reverse engineered to be nothing more than a 1980’s digital clock with the cover removed and attached to a power source. Interestingly this same clock was use to set off a bomb on Air India Flight 182 in 1985 killing 329 people. So why would Ahmed claim he “invented” it when he did nothing of the sort?

Ahmed’s older sister was suspended from the same school for three days some years earlier because of a fellow student’s claim that Eyman “wanted to blow up the school.”

Within days of being released, Ahmed gave a Press Conference at his house hosted by North Texas Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations which is tied to the hip with the terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood. In it he explained he was withdrawing from school despite the school trying to reach him and come to an understanding. He has brought in lawyers, set up a “Go Fund Me” account to pay for legal bills and his twitter account is nothing more than a professionally run PR site.

On top of all this, Ahmed’s father is a belligerent Muslim activist also tied in with CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood plus a perennial Sudanese presidential candidate. Ahmed’s uncle owns a trucking company amusingly called Twin Towers Transportation Corporation.

Ahmed was also called by fellow “techie” Mark Cuban, owner of pro basketball’s Dallas Mavericks and star of the ABC-TV show “Shark Tank,” to talk about the invention. According to Cuban, he heard Mohamed’s sister feeding him answers when he talked to him on the phone. This seems odd, particularly given Ahmed’s apparent comfort — even relish — at being the center of attention.

Another interesting tidbit in all this is that the City of Irving Texas has come under fire from CAIR for outlawing a Muslim Tribunal set up outside of Texas law by a local Mosque. The tribunal is operating as a non-profit organization in Dallas. One of the attorneys for the tribunal said participation and acceptance of the tribunal’s decisions are “voluntary.” Although the Muslim so-called “judges” claim this is just for religious disputes and marital issues, it has created plenty of outrage — not just in Texas, but nationwide. Conveniently, 8 days later, the Irving Texas school district is visited by the mad clock maker.

So, are we to believe that a 14 year old boy innocently took an old clock, stuffed it in a metal suitcase and brought it to school simply to show his technical brilliance or that was part of a scheme to attack those standing against Islam?

“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran is the highest authority in America, and Islam is the only accepted religion on earth.” Attributed to Omar Ahmed, the founder of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR)
