It seems to me that as government at all levels gets bigger and transiting the labyrinths of the bureaucracy gets more difficult, there has evolved a new agency class that can best be described as “puppet masters”. These masters of deception are pulling the strings at all levels of government.
Think about Joe Biden. Does anyone think that he is still running the show? Yesterday he took a moment to wander from the prepared statements that had been handed to him by his puppet masters. He claimed that his administration had cured cancer! Like magicians, the puppet masters want us to focus on the puppet or the shiny object and not on those who are pulling the strings. After Mr. Biden’s speech, the puppet masters went into action and retreated from his Nobelean claim of a cure for cancer. Who is pulling the puppets’ strings?
Are the Obamas or the DEEP STATE leftovers from administrations past working in the Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI, State or Defense Departments, or the Intelligence agencies?
Or are those monied Soros sycophant elitists working in Silicon Valley or the media calling the shots?
In Idaho almost without exception and irrespective of political party, the puppets are controlled by the lobbyist—corporatists (IEA, IHA, IMA, IACI) and the Bar Association. Not only are the political purse strings controlled by those representing the legacy and elite interests; they have placed their operatives into positions in government that are charged with regulating the very industries from whence they grew up. They are more than likely to facilitate those interests. The everyday voter is slowly losing their voice and influence. Does anybody believe that Brad Little ever makes a move without his former employer IACI pulling the strings?
In local government, the game is the same. Always follow the money. Municipalities as they grow always need more sources of income. Again, no matter the political affiliation of the politician—City Father, the longer they stay in office, the more likely they seem to believe that government is the cure for all of society’s problems. No longer are they focused on the citizens’ security—police and fire and rescue, and streets, roads, and infrastructure. Their primary focus becomes funding themselves! That is why developers from out of state have more say before City Councils than citizen voters who live in the towns being developed. The needs of the city—”The Commons” are more important than the individual citizens. The needs of the City—funding growing city governments, becomes antecedent to property rights, security, and quality of life.
At every level of government, the puppet master is in charge. The “deep state”, the corporate lobbyist, or the outside developer all exert influence and stand ahead of the individual citizen in the line for government subsidies, rebates, and access to property.
We must stop watching the shiny object and engage the puppet masters. I believe people like Dorothy Moon and Raul Labrador are doing exactly that. We still have a very few in our State Legislature and in our local City Councils that speak for the people and not the special interests. I hope the tide is turning—we will see.
In the meantime, the political party and candidates that speak to Idaho values—faith, family, and fundamentals grounded in traditional moral values, and are willing to confront the special interest puppet masters at all levels of government, still have a chance—for now.
It’s time to “engage the enemy special interests” who have only their selfish interests at heart. “If not now, when? If not you, who?”

There ARE puppet masters – some WITHIN the supposed “conservative” GOP. I have seen it and experienced it. Power corrupts anyone who lets it corrupt them. Just because they claim to be doing it in the search of “good candidates” doesn’t make them any better than those who do it for control. I am currently watching something play out that is the result of puppet strings being wielded in a community and it is not going well for those attached to the strings. It may ruin their political careers, personal reputations, and derail attempts to clean up longstanding corruption all because those holding the strings desire power and control more than they desire good candidates getting into office and being allowed or encouraged to think for themselves. These puppet masters lurk in the shadows and wield much influence. If you “do as you are told”, they will continue to support you and get you re-elected. However, if you cross them, even if you are in the right, they will primary you in an instant. All of this I have seen within the “conservative” GOP. I also know of a situation in which someone in a position of authority who COULD help clean up corruption refuses to do so because exposing THOSE puppet masters could incur the wrath of local “conservatives” who themselves hold strings and influence AND votes and currently support the puppet masters. Yes, as this article points out, there are puppet masters in the higher levels of our government, but there are just as many if not more in local governments too. It takes a very strong and secure person to get into politics and keep his or her integrity and not let themselves get influenced by power, money, or those who have it (even the supposed “good guys”). Enemies once made can do a lot of damage and it takes a strong person to keep their head in the midst of public persecution. It takes a person with the proper outlook beyond political office to stay true to his or her convictions while in office. Sadly, I have not seen a lot of those type of people in Idaho or in America. The ones I have seen, have taken a lot of grief and so have their families.
THE OFFICIAL PUPPET MASTERS
America’s official PUPPET masters were none other than the constitutional framers who replaced the Bible’s immutable/unchanging moral law with their own capricious man-made traditions (aka the biblically seditious Constitution) as the law of the land.
Today’s deep state manipulators (impossible under a biblical government) ae merely 1 of 100s of 1000s of consequences of the whirlwind today’s America is reaping thanks to the wind sown by the constitutional framers:
“[B]ecause they have … trespassed against my law … they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind….” (Hosea 8:1, 7)
Today’s America is reaping the inevitable ever-intensifying whirlwind resulting from the wind sown by the constitutional framers and fanned by today’s hoodwinked Christians and patriots who have been bamboozled into believing today’s whirlwind can be dissipated by appealing to the wind responsible for spawning the whirlwind.

As long as candidates need someone else’s money to run, THE WEALTHY WILL ALWAYS WIN, because they donate the most to candidates. The candidates who win, have to do what they are told by the wealthy, or they do not get any more money from the wealthy.
A way of campaigning that forbids spending any money, needs to be created. One way would be a state and federal debate system, and the winner of each debate would go on to the next one, until a winner is declared in each state, then they go on to the federal debates. There could be a better way, but the way we have right now is an AUCTION HOUSE for the wealthy to BUY A CANDIDATE.
EVERY candidate in EVERY city, county, state, and federal election, should have to win by a 50% plus one vote. Too many politicians win because there are too many candidates running, and whoever gets the most votes, wins, and they do not need to have most of the votes. Most of the presidents were elected with LESS THAN HALF OF THE VOTES. This means MOST OF THE PEOPLE DID NOT WANT THEM AS PRESIDENT. How many members of the city, state, county, and federal congresses did not get over half of the votes?

We could create a rule that limits the amount of campaign contributions by any citizen or business that must live in or operate within the district where the election is being held to $100. That way individual citizens can compete with the likes of IACI/IMA-IHA and IEA.
RobAnn: The same can be said for the democrats. I lived it in CA., and you will never see a more corrupt state. So it happens on both sides, and we must keep it from happening in our state of Idaho through our voting, writing emails and letters to our representatives. Let our voices be heard and understood as to what we want and will allow in our State. A candidate who proclaims to do one thing, but does the opposite will be voted out. Those (who pay attention) will see the candidates who do what they promised and the ones who lied to get in office. We need clear heads who will fight for our God given freedoms, and we need to “stand behind them” when good leaders are found.
Ted Weiland: The framers of the Constitution did a very good job back when it was written in 1787 in Philadelphia. It has had many amendments since then to update it to our “ever changing world.” Its biggest job was to make sure the government didn’t have the complete power to run people’s lives.

The framers of the Constitution never heard of the evil things that Tech has brought to our computers and iPhones. So I’m saying that the framers of the Constitution did a great job when it was written.
