This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America&#8217;s prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe applaud U.S. Representative Russ Fulcher for working to ensure that the constituents of the 1st District of Idaho continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond,\u201d <strong>the U.S. Chamber of Commerce\u2019s press release read.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act will generate additional and new opportunities for Idaho\u2019s business community,\u201d <strong>said Katelyn Pay, Manager of the Northwest Region at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.<\/strong> \u201cFrom family-run shops to expanding industrial enterprises, local employers are already seeing the benefits of a stronger, more supportive economic environment. Representative Fulcher\u2019s leadership has been vital to advancing policies that create jobs and drive investment. Thanks to his support, businesses in Idaho are positioned to succeed for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cH.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, delivers for hard-working Idahoans and Main Street,&#8221; <strong>said Congressman Fulcher.<\/strong> &#8220;It made the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) lower tax rates permanent for small businesses, while doubling their deductions on expenses. It also eliminated taxes on tips and overtime pay\u2014a tax measure I was inspired to spearhead in Congress after speaking with a constituent at a town hall meeting in Sandpoint. This once in a generation legislation is pro-worker, pro-growth, pro-investment, and will help usher in a new era of American prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We&#8217;re always looking for opportunities to put business owners and leaders in the same room with their elected representatives,\u201d<strong> said Travis Palmer, President and CEO of the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce.<\/strong> \u201cThe bill (OBBBA) passed, and our local businesses want to know how they&#8217;ll be impacted and how they can potentially benefit from it.
