{"id":18297,"date":"2025-03-02T15:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-02T22:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gemstatepatriot.com\/blog\/?p=18297"},"modified":"2025-03-02T17:41:25","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T00:41:25","slug":"ai-action-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gemstatepatriot.com\/blog\/ai-action-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"AI Action Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Keeping to his promises, President Trump is fulfilling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2025\/01\/removing-barriers-to-american-leadership-in-artificial-intelligence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">two<\/a> Executive Orders (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/fact-sheets\/2025\/01\/fact-sheet-president-donald-j-trump-takes-action-to-enhance-americas-ai-leadership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EO<\/a>) of January 23, 2025, to develop an AI (artificial intelligence) Action Plan with a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefings-statements\/2025\/02\/public-comment-invited-on-artificial-intelligence-action-plan\/\">EO<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A couple of individuals who will lead this will be <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/technology\/5025686-trump-names-david-sacks-as-ai-crypto-czar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AI<\/a> and Crypto Czar David <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/02\/04\/trump-crypto-czar-david-sacks-says-priority-is-stablecoin-legislation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sacks<\/a>, and Mike <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/defense\/4986351-trump-waltz-national-security\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Waltz<\/a>, National Security <a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/secretary-of-state-marco-rubio-national-security-advisor-mike-waltz-and-special-envoy-to-the-middle-east-steve-witkoff-with-jennifer-hansler-of-cnn-and-matthew-lee-of-the-associated-press\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Advisor<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upi.com\/Top_News\/US\/2025\/02\/25\/trump-administration-ai-action-plan-input\/1591740520084\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">advertised<\/a> very well in the news, this AI Action Plan is now listed on the Federal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2025\/02\/06\/2025-02305\/request-for-information-on-the-development-of-an-artificial-intelligence-ai-action-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Register<\/a>. Comments on this proposed Action Plan can be made to <a href=\"mailto:ostp-ai-rfi@nitrd.gov\">ostp-ai-rfi@nitrd.gov<\/a> with &#8220;AI Action Plan&#8221; written in the subject box along with some other requirements, and <strong>submitted on or before 11:59 p.m. (ET) on March 15, 2025<\/strong>. There is also a mail-in address for those who prefer that method of communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the requested input on this Action plan include the mechanics of AI like hardware, data centers, energy consumption, model and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geeksforgeeks.org\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-open-source-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">open source<\/a> development, use in the private sector, cybersecurity, data privacy, security against AI model <a href=\"https:\/\/snyk.io\/articles\/ai-security\/ai-attacks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">attacks<\/a>, technical and safety standards, national security and defense, research and development, education and workforce, procurement, and international collaboration.
