{"id":14564,"date":"2024-01-20T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-20T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gemstatepatriot.com\/blog\/?p=14564"},"modified":"2024-09-23T23:22:38","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T05:22:38","slug":"thank-you-attorney-general-raul-labrador","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gemstatepatriot.com\/blog\/thank-you-attorney-general-raul-labrador\/","title":{"rendered":"Thank You, Attorney General Raul Labrador"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is sometimes easy to write about all the issues elected officials get wrong by not stopping the tremendous damage being done to our state, and country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, this time a tremendous thanks is owed to Attorney General Raul Labrador for joining twenty four&nbsp;state attorney generals and objecting to a Securities and Exchange Commission <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearmarkets.com\/articles\/2023\/12\/01\/beware_the_secs_creation_of_natural_asset_companies_996044.html\">proposed<\/a> rule change titled Self-Regulatory Organizations; New York Stock Exchange LLC; Notice of Filing of Proposed Rule Change To Amend the NYSE Listed Company Manual To Adopt Listing Standards for Natural Asset Companies,&#8221; 88 Fed Reg. 68,811 (October 4, 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Essentially, this rule would have authorized the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to list Natural Asset Companies (<a href=\"https:\/\/thewashingtonstandard.com\/the-next-illegal-scam\/\">NAC<\/a>) on its exchange.
