Why is America so Polarized & Divided?

You can always tell when Trump is on the right track, as the left starts firing the propaganda cannons telling you not to believe a word he is saying. Here is Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary’s definition of Propaganda: Ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one’s cause or to damage the opposing cause: The spreading of ideas, information, or rumors for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person.

Where did the Propaganda start? I have written many times about how it has taken 60 years of educational indoctrination to bring about the current divide in our country. This was a deliberate attempt by our public education system to change our country by indoctrinating our children with liberal ideas through our public education system. It was these same public education teachers who told our children that they should go to college if they wanted a good job. So, they sought higher education in droves, only to have their leftist indoctrination completed by the liberal professors making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Most Americans don’t realize that currently the ratio of liberal to conservative professors in U.S. colleges and universities is significantly imbalanced, with estimates suggesting a ratio of about 10 to 1 or higher in some fields. As salaries went up for these professors, so did tuitions, and our children became indebted like never before in our history to the tune of $1.78 Trillion with 92% in federal loans. Anyone who didn’t think this was a plan of the liberals is a fool. The education of our children was the reshaping of America, a deep state propaganda scheme to significantly influence the minds of our kids. They were building a society of liberal thinkers by shaping perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors through persuasive messaging. This was to exploit their emotions and biases to promote specific ideologies and agendas, which have led to social division and manipulation of public opinion.

Liberal Media’s format is always Propaganda: As a form of communication in today’s liberal media cabal, propaganda is a form of communication aimed at influencing the attitudes and beliefs of people. It all too often presents selective information promoting particular agendas, leading to social division and manipulation of how those listening think about certain topics. We have seen over the last 30 or so years that as the liberal media was organizing and establishing this powerhouse of misinformation, they significantly affected both individual perceptions and broader societal norms. These liberal propagandists appeal to people’s emotional triggers that tend to elicit strong responses, leading to acceptance of new ideas without critical thinking. The incessant flow of these messages is to normalize their ideas and make them more acceptable over time. They simplify complex issues by reducing nuanced discussions to binary choices, which will mislead the general public’s understanding.

How does Propaganda impact society? The objective is to polarize our country and deepen divisions within our society by framing issues in a way that pits groups against each other, which leads to increased hostility and conflict. By manipulating the truth and distorting facts and presenting misleading information, propaganda creates the false narrativethat eventually shapes public opinion and policy. To quote Joseph Goebbels, “Hitler’s Propagandist,” “If you repeat a lie often enough people will believe it and you will even come to believe it yourself.” Over time, we have seen how this repeated propaganda has shifted many Americans’ cultural values and norms, influencing everything from political beliefs to social behaviors.

Outrageous Clams by the Left: We are currently enduring the latest propaganda with the left claiming that we need more affordability, yet we never hear them remind us that it was their boy Joe Biden and his administration that gave us the highest inflation in the past 50 years. This is a perfect example of how the left uses its media propaganda machine to sway public opinion. This is an easy lift for them because we no longer do any critical thinking; we just accept what we hear from the media as gospel. There are so few media outlets that offer conservative viewpoints that a majority of media watchers never hear the other side of the story, and in most cases are too lazy to check it out, even if it is available.

Let me give you the counterargument to Affordability today: During the Biden administration, most average families lost 3 to 4,000 dollars in income because of Biden’s war on fossil fuels and new regulations imposed by the EPA that cost Americans $1.8 Trillion over 4 years. The environmental agency alone was the largest contributor, accounting for over $1.3 Trillion of the total regulatory costs. Unfortunately for the left, President Trump’s signing of the Big Beautiful Bill will add to the average taxpayer’s income $2,314.00 in 2026, and there will be a nice tax refund check for most of those workers, which will average about $1,800. Are prices for food, energy, and many manufactured goods higher than most people would like? The answer is yes, but it was the previous administration that caused these prices to rise as inflation hit 20%. So, while the left is trying to steer us to believing that Trump, who has only been in office for 10 months, is responsible for these high prices, I tell you nothing could be further from the truth. We are already seeing gas prices decline below $3.00 a gallon in most states, and as oil production continues to increase under Trump’s Drill Baby Drill program, we are going to see much lower prices by mid-year. Petroleum is the primary driver for the cost of just about everything we make and deliver to the consumer, so when the price of energy goes up, the cost of everything goes up. Critical thinkers understand this principle, but those on the left are driving the agenda that it is Trump, not Biden, who is responsible for less affordability.

In Conclusion: We have seen the proof of how propaganda can cause profound turmoil in our country. It has shaped perceptions, influenced behaviors, and led us to many of the current problems we face, along with significant societal changes. We as a nation must understand how we have been manipulated by these egregious media moguls who have control of 90% of our airwaves and continue to push their agendas to change our country. Even our social media outlets have been manipulating the truth to polarize us to the point that most of us can no longer tell what the truth is and what is propaganda. The only way we can win this battle is by understanding these mechanisms being used and beginning to foster critical thinking and informed decision-making in a media-saturated world. We need to question everything the media has to say, as they are the culprits who have put us in the current chaos we are experiencing. So, the next time you are listening to a liberal broadcast network, think about what they are saying and question if they are telling you the truth or just one more lie to continue their destruction of our Republic.
