Tony Wisniewski has announced his candidacy for the Idaho House of Representatives, District 3 Seat B.
A resident of Post Falls for over twenty years, Tony brings valuable experience and knowledge to the issues facing Idahoans.
Tony believes education should focus on raising up strong citizens who are ready to start their careers with the skills they need. He has served on a regional Educational Advisory Committee for several years which coordinates the needs of local industry with the academic, vocational, and technical training programs of that school district. He has spoken at several local schools to encourage students to consider technical careers. Tony has served as Chairman in the local chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
Tony sees that Idaho is ripe for economic development, principally in the areas of agriculture, timber, mining, and especially manufacturing. Having spent a number of years on a dairy farm he has seen the strangling effects of government over-reach on agriculture.
Tony has been a Precinct Committeeman since 2008 and has served on or chaired several subcommittees. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee, an elected position he has held for three terms. He proudly supports the Idaho Republican Party Platform which is based on belief in God and the family, and which promotes citizen involvement, responsibility, and liberty.
