The Shameful Corporate Support for Abortion

Why are corporations leading the charge against the Supreme Court reversal on Roe v Wade?. You don’t have to look too hard to find that it is the corporate world who is vehemently against this decision purely for monetary reasons. Corporations were quick to come out and say they would be willing to pay for travel to states where abortion is legal as a health benefit for their employees. So why would they do this. The answer is very simple “Money” and being able to keep their female work force intact. If a female employee has an abortion there is a onetime cost to the company to cover the cost of the abortion and travel, however if they decide to have a child it costs the company big time. First there are all of the doctor visits pre-birth $2,000. Next there is the hospital cost for the birth and fees to the OBGYN preforming the birth. That would run $30,000 for a regular birth and up to 70 thousand for a c section. Next we have the paid maternity leave 6 to 10 thousand and the additional cost of adding the child to their hospitalization. The final cost is the replacement of the employee if the employee decides being a mother is more important than her job. Than the corporation will have to find someone who will take their place and train them. Total cost for a new child would be 50 to 100,000 thousand dollars.

Do you get it yet now why you’re seeing so much resistance to this change in the abortion laws? These are major costs to these corporations that could affect their bottom line. It is a simple matter of dollars and cents to them and it is much cheaper for them to pay for the abortion procedure which would be between $350 to $2,000 depending on the number of weeks of gestation plus the cost of travel to a state where abortion is legal. If you don’t think that the corporate world wants to keep abortion legal you are sadly mistaken as most corporations only look at their bottom line and could care less about how many unborn are killed for the sake of making a little more profit.

Just look at the companies that directly supported Planned Parenthood there are some very prominent names like. Adobe, American express, AT&T, Avon, Bank America, Ben and Jerry’s, Clorox, Converse, Dockers Exxon Mobil, Fannie Mae, Johnson and Johnson, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Pfizer the list goes on and on. You want to know where the real problem facing us lies it is with the corporations that pay for the politicians who promote abortion. It is the corporations that run government with their campaign contributions. Fortunately they had no way of bribing the Supreme Court justices as they are appointed for life and don’t need to worry about campaign contributions.

It is almost impossible to find the latest information on donations made to PPH but in 2016 more than 25% of Planned Parenthood’s $1.3 billion annual revenue came from private donations, which includes corporate contributions. It is not just regular corporations that contribute to Planned Parenthood. We found there are many non-profit organizations that also support abortion with donations. These corporations don’t want their names published and Planned Parenthood pulled the names of corporate donors after Coca-Cola, Ford and Xerox objected. Corporations are now taking more surreptitious route to help fund Planned Parenthood by donating to organizations like the United Fund and designating where the money will go. Here is a link to a list from 2019 of some of the companies that have donated to Planned Parenthood. https://www.partnersforethicalcare.com/planned-parenthood-donors

While this decision by the Supreme Court puts the abortion question back in the hands of the states it is at least a first step to stem the tide of killing the unborn. The only way we might be able to stop this corporate carnage of the unborn is by boycotting these companies that care only about their bottom line. You can make them feel some pain by calling them and telling them you will no longer purchase or use their products and if enough of us do that we might save some more lives. Abortion will still be legal in many of the more liberal states and many more of the unborn will be put to death but if we can save just one life it would be a victory.

Save the unborn.

Abortion is not always an act of violence. In fact, sometimes it delivers a live baby, and I’m not talking about those that survive a botched attempt to murder them.

The battle against this atrocity begins with identifying it correctly. By calling it “abortion,” we’ve already acquiesced to the opposition’s terminology. Look up “abortion” and “miscarriage” in any dictionary. A miscarriage is an abortion. In fact, term babies qualify as abortions. Why? Because they were aborted from their mothers’ wombs by natural means, as God designed.

What doctors (and parents) do to infants in the womb is in utero infanticide. Had Roe v. Wade been waged over infanticide rather than abortion, it would have never made it to the court room. In fact, by employing the word “abortion,” Roe v. Wade was won before it ever got to court.

The Greek word “brephos” employed in the New Testament for infants already born is the same word used for infants in the womb (Luke 2:12 and Luke 1:41), without specifying the precise moment they became a “brephos.” Therefore, our only option is to then accept that they became such at conception. Thus, intentionally killing a brephos at any point is “brephocide” or, more properly, infanticide.

The same is true for one of the Hebrew words translated “child.”

The point being, we Christians need to stop using the non-Christians’ watered-down, politically correct terms such as “abortion” and “gay.” It’s infanticide and sodomy. There is no power in the former terms against evil and our first mistake is in acquiescing to the ungodly’s terminology.
