Liz Cheney is a wife and a mother. For that she should be respected. I try to find good in everybody and that is all that I got for Liz. She is also her father’s daughter. Like John Kasich, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, George Bush, and Brad Little she is a political “legacy”. Her access to the levers of power and influence run directly through family and a political establishment that Donald Trump called “the swamp”. The swamp exists in Washington DC and in State Capitals across the country including Boise. The swamp is a network of people and organizations that for generations have had an undue influence over governments at the Federal and State levels.
Over the generations the concentration of power and money has evolved into a political “servo system” SERVOs exist in nature—the Krebs cycle in biochemistry is a “servo”. They exist in electronics where a motor—drive—controller work with a feedback loop that adjusts the output to the needs of the system—just like in biochemistry. In politics “servo models” of governance and political influence are problematic because they can turn into “perpetual motion machines”. Inputs uncontrolled create ever increasing outputs etc. Unregulated and uncontrolled financing of political campaigns by lobbyists and corporations create a state of symbiosis or dependency and the role of donor (campaign contributor) vs recipient (office holder) becomes blurred. Benefactor or supplicant—who is which? The role of individual citizens—everyday voters and the ones who support the system of government with their labor and taxes—as opposed to the people and organizations that finance political campaigns become disconnected. Politicians become more beholding to the latter than the former. This process that has occurred for generations has made every day working citizens feel ever more distant and disconnected from their government.
RINOs like the Bush, Cheney, Romney, Little, Jim Jones factions of the Republican party become united with progressive liberals like Pelosi, Soros, AOC, Schumer, and the Jim Jones (how did he get in both listings?) factions of the democratic party. The puppet strings from both groups are being pulled by the same Masters. That is why both groups—RINOs and progressives are united in their disdain for Donald Trump—but equally they despise his supporters. We are a threat to their “servo system” political machine.
What is also common to both groups—progressives and RINOs is their belief that there is a separate set of rules for them and for “the common folk”—deplorables if you will. There is no better example than the Hunter Biden investigation compared to the Department of Justice (DOJ) going after school moms who confronted progressive policies at local school board meetings. What about Trump “Russian Collusion” or two Faux impeachments or the Jan 6th Committee? What about the lack of accountability in our FBI, (DOJ) or in our State Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) Has there ever been an investigation of The Clinton Foundation Ponzi scheme? Talk about pay to play. The corporate Masters have a stake in this game and have likewise been threatened by Donald Trump conservatives who continue to call out their hypocrisy and crimes. In short, they are scared. We are witnessing concern turn into fear. These aren’t courageous virtuous people we are dealing with. Their allegiance is not to principle or a political philosophy or even to a faith in God, their allegiance is to one thing—POWER. Their ride on the “servo” perpetual motion machine is about to crash into a wall of accountability and reality.
This brings me back to Liz Cheney. “Hate” does not wear well on her heart—nor on anyone’s—remember she is a mother and a wife. But her behavior toward Donald Trump and most of all her disdain for his supporters—she and Nancy P could be cheerleaders for Trump hate (they were both cheerleaders in high school), is not only self-destructive, but could have the unintended consequence of providing a blueprint for future RINO-Progressive joint ventures. Maybe a progressive group, it could even be funded by George Soros, could set up an organization to encourage Wyoming Democrats to cross over and vote for Liz in the Wyoming Republican Primary—Oh my, that already has happened. Or maybe the RINO-Bush Progressive Soros team could join forces and run against the Republican candidate—Trump or DeSantis as a third party and take away Republican votes. Triangulation. They could look to Idaho history and the Little—Labrador—Alquist model. It is hard to keep up with a perpetual motion machine!
Liz has always been a pawn of the “establishment”. Just like a Kennedy, Rockefeller, Romney, or Bush. Insiders by birth. Liz as near as I can tell spent part of her fifth and sixth grades in Casper Wyoming. The rest of her life she has spent in Washington DC. She graduated from MacLean High School. Like Nancy P and so many other establishment types, she has a political residence and then she has a domicile—like so many other of our representatives in Washington DC. When she loses, I can almost guarantee that she will have a new residence in DC or one of the rich suburbs—not Maclean but maybe Bethesda or Chevy Chase or a Beach Home on the Del-Mar-VA Coast certainly not back with “her people” in Wyoming. The same thing can be said for Idaho politicians —present and past. One last thing about Mrs. Phillip Perry—Liz Cheney. She is truly what Kipling describes as “The Female of the Species”
When the Himalayan peasant meets the he-bear in his pride,
He shouts to scare the monster who will often turn aside.
But the she-bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail,
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.
In her Jan. 6th hearings, she is defending her right to “legacy” as passed onto her by her father —Richard better known as “Dick”. She is afraid that she will lose her access to power. That is why her hate for Trump and his supporters is so fierce. It is personal. She is afraid. Many other people are in the same boat. Hopefully, it is sinking fast.
