Boise, Idaho – February 11, 2022 – Sarah Clendenon announces candidacy for State Representative in Idaho Legislative District 15, Seat B.
Clendenon is the State Secretary of the Constitution Party of Idaho as well as a founding contributor to the creation of the Ada County Central Committee, CP-Idaho. She was elected to and holds the position of County Secretary in CP-Idaho Ada County Central Committee.
Clendenon graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration and continued her studies in Public Law and Political Philosophy at Boise State. She is the proud mother of three children. She has been a Real Estate Professional in the Treasure Valley for several years.
In the twenty four years that she has been living in the Boise area, Sarah has been active in effecting change in local and state politics. As the Director of Legislative Affairs for the non-profit organization Health Freedom Idaho, Sarah has worked diligently to protect the rights of the people. Sarah and HFI are very active in hosting educational events, seminars, and rallies, in addition to extensive policy work. Sarah has drafted several pieces of legislation and works closely with the House and Senate to defend health freedom and parental rights in Idaho.
On this topic, Clendenon says, “The foundation of our inherent, God-given rights is bodily autonomy and sovereignty. We have the unalienable right to choose how to stay healthy. If we do not own our bodies, and make our own decisions for what is put in them, we are enslaved. The people working in government have no place mandating any particular path to wellness. I will always advocate for health freedom rights, personal responsibility, and parental rights in the care of children.”
Sarah is a Christian and knows God creates life. She recognizes the beauty and sanctity of human life and will always work to protect it. Sarah is a gun owner and gun enthusiast. She will fight for the fundamental right of the people to protect and defend themselves, their children, and their property. Sarah loathes taxes of all types. She will work diligently to reduce and eliminate as much tax burden on the people as possible. She understands taxes are a destruction of the peoples’ wealth.
In her free time, Clendenon enjoys cheering on her kids in basketball and football, coaching a cheerleading team, reading, camping, and exploring Idaho.
“The people of District 15 deserve a Representative that will respect and defend their fundamental rights, reduce government, and stop the destruction of liberty. I will be that Representative for them,” Clendenon said.

“Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able MEN, such as fear God, MEN of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers….” (Exodus 18:21)
“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” (Isaiah 3:12)
“But I suffer not a woman to … to usurp authority over the man….” (1 Timothy 2:12)
This is not to say that the men in positions of civil leadership are any more biblically qualified than are today’s women – they’re not.
You can thank Article 6’s Christian test ban (by which mandatory biblical qualifications were likewise eliminated) on both counts.
For more regarding Article 6’s Christian test ban, see Chapter 9 “Article 6: The Supreme Law of the Land” of free online book “Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective” at https://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/BlvcOnline/biblelaw-constitutionalism-pt9.html
Then Chapter 28 “Amendment 19: The Curse of Women’s Suffrage.”
Not quite sure just what is being said in the other comment–but it made me think of the female judge, Deborah, in the book of Judges in the Old Testament, “who led Israel…after they entered the promised land….”
