Pragmatism in Defense of Liberty is No Vice

I haven’t seen so many Democrats this mad (and scared) since the Republicans freed the slaves.

I haven’t seen so many people hate a President like the various progressive and RINO factions in our country today hate Donald Trump, since the Democrats, Peace Democrats, and Copperheads expressed their hate for Abraham Lincoln from 1858 until 1865. Hate eventually destroys the hater—always and from the inside out.

I have lived in Boise since leaving the Navy in 1988. I have had the misfortune of always living in the most liberal-progressive legislative districts in the State. Though reconfigured several times two of the three (most currently defined by Districts 15, 16, and 17) have always elected Democrats to the State Senate and House. Grant Burgoyne was my State Senator for many years, and he had a better Idaho Freedom Index number than several Republicans over several years. He was a gentleman, and he always listened to me and on several occasions asked for my advice. I enjoyed putting TRUMP—BURGOYNE Campaign signs in my back yard always joined together and as large as I could make them. I put them on the back fence so all the golfers at the Plantation who were passing by on hole number 12 could enjoy the irony.

I live in Garden City and still proudly have my TRUMP bumper sticker on our car. What Mr. Trump accomplished in uncovering the “deep state” in our Federal Government was epic. There is still a lot of work to be done. Factions from various parts of the political spectrum are again lining up against him. The same factions with the same goals of consolidating our Federal system and growing the Federal government while making State and local governments secondary in importance, creating a political constituency by creating a dependent welfare state, gutting our military and economic advantage in support of one world corporate oligarchy with the promise of utopia, purposefully pitting factions of people against each other in the name of equity, wokeness, and most of all marginalizing faith, a belief in God, and Natural Law principles in the name of THE STATE.

From Robert Taft being opposed by the liberal wing of the Republican party with the Rockefeller—Bliss candidate Dwight Eisenhower, to the Ray Bliss, George Romney, Nelson Rockefeller subterfuge of Barry Goldwater’s 1964 Presidential campaign—RINOs have won more elections, for Democrats than Democrats have won for themselves. Even the last Presidential Campaign where the Kasich—Ryan—Romney—Boehner—Christy—Bush (2) failed to actively endorse or work for President Trump Republicans probably did more damage beating up on each other and not supporting each other than any election fraud could possibly do. We need safe, clean, verifiable, and audited elections in our country with only citizens voting in person—except in a few cases like those in our military or on foreign business for more than 3 months—and using official and verifiable ID.

As much as I love, respect and am grateful for Donald Trump I am going to surprise many of my conservative friends and state that even though he is the best man in a Republican Primary, and he may be the best man to be President, he is not the best man to be the Republican candidate for President. Think—Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona. In all those States where the registered Democrats and Republicans are about 33% of the Registered voters each, the Republican candidate needs to win well over 60% of the remaining independent votes. Who are those votes—suburban women, college-educated suburbanites, academics and teachers, and people employed by large international corporations?

Donald Trump needs to win well over 60% of the independent voters in six of those seven critical states. Any other Republican candidate could easily win all seven of those States as Rush Limbaugh would say—”with one half of his brain tied behind his back”. It saddens me to have to admit to that reality, but ‘THAT’S A FACT JACK”. Donald Trump is the head of the Republican Party, but as the head of the Party he needs to do what is first best for the country and then what is best for the party and all the candidates running for Senate and The House. Donald Trump should be “The King Maker.”

I happen to think that Ron DeSantis and Winsome Sears would be a great ticket. There are several other combinations that are intriguing. The point of all this is that just like in 1860 when several factions within and without the new Republican party tried to defeat Abraham Lincoln, the same thing is happening again. There is nobody working harder to get Donald Trump the Republican nomination than Democrats, RINOs, and the mainstream media. They know they can beat him. They know that almost any other conservative will be almost impossible to beat.

Thank you and God Bless you, Mr. Trump. Along with Ronald Reagan, you are the greatest President of my lifetime. If we are to save our country we can’t do it without you, not as a Candidate, but as The King Maker in Chief.
