Mass psychogenic illness—also known as “mass hysteria” has occurred throughout history. Notable examples are the Salem Witch trials, the Covid faux pandemic, Y2K, the Ukrainian phone call, Russian collusion by Trump and the “peepee tapes”, and yesterday the partisan “signal chat” dump of a strategy session between our Vice President and our National Security team.
President Trump and his team immediately acknowledged that mistakes were made, while also pointing out that classified information was not the issue. The real issue was that it gave our enemies a glimpse into our tactical planning process that in the future needs to be streamlined and secured more properly. As of today, we know that nobody on that “signal chat” call was responsible for the inadvertent placement of Mr. Goldberg from Atlantic magazine on that e-mail chain. It was a staffer who as of this writing has not been identified.
The progressive political left and media no longer just report the news. They want to be the news. Leading the charge against the “orange man” Donald Trump and Elon Musk they are struggling to find an issue that connects with everyday people. They can’t find one. Instead, they resort to ad hominem attacks and calling their opponents nazis, racists, misogynists, and haters. They call destroying property “peaceful” demonstrations.
The very people who cowered in their Congressional Office buildings blocks away from the Capital on January 6th, 2021, claiming their lives were at risk, who called for the suspension of due process against those demonstrators and demanded that many of them be thrown in jail, now claim that the burning of Tesla cars and dealerships is “peaceful”. Their sense of “justice” seems not to be based on any facts or in “the law”, but on their political agendas. The predicate for their diatribes against our President seems to be based only on emotion, and when together in the echo chamber of an MSNBC or CNN news panel they are a perfect example of MASS HYSTERIA.
I never practiced psychiatry, but in medical school one of the examples that was used when we studied mass hysteria and MASS PSYCHOGENCI ILLNESS was the Dancing Plague of 1518 in Strasberg Alsace (now France). Over a thousand people danced in the streets singing a tune for days on end—several of them dancing themselves to death. The progressive political left and media are in the midst of a modern-day DANCING PLAGUE. Unfortunately for us, they are tone deaf and they are really bad dancers. They change their tunes daily, but they can’t hide their anger and hate not only for Donald Trump and Elon Musk, but for WE THE PEOPLE deplorables who support the long overdue changes they are making in the way government acts toward citizens. According to our Great Declaration, governments exist to serve the people. For the past 60 years that calculous has been flipped upside down—at all levels of government.
In the end, most of the people who are spewing hate and advocating for violence—implicitly and explicitly, are the people who have been gaming the system for political lifetimes. They fear the gig is up and they will be exposed. Just look at Chucky Schumer, Maxine Waters, and Nancy P. How can you spend a lifetime in politics and acquire wealth equal to that of a corporate CEO or hospital administrator? WE are only now seeing the tip of the iceberg of the waste fraud and abuse at all levels of government.
To those on the left I say KEEP ON DANCING but please stop singing. WINNING
